Our Mission

Our mission is to eliminate the data friction that slows down finance teams at small and mid-sized firms. Accountants, CFOs, and analysts shouldn't need to be data engineers to get answers from their own numbers. DataFloat was founded to make that the norm, not the exception.

Our Story

DataFloat started with a simple frustration. Our founders watched accounting and finance professionals at small firms spend hours every week manually pulling data from disconnected systems, reformatting spreadsheets, and rebuilding the same reports over and over again. The tools existed to solve this problem for large enterprises, but nothing was built for the firms that needed it most.

We started talking to accountants, CFOs, and financial analysts. The more we listened, the more we realized the problem wasn't just workflow inefficiency. It was that no one had designed a tool that actually fit the way these professionals work. So we decided to build it.

DataFloat was founded out of that conviction. We're a small team that cares deeply about the people we're building for, and we're just getting started.
