Our Mission

Our mission is to eliminate the data friction that slows finance professionals down, starting with the fractional CFOs who carry it across a whole book of clients. No one should need to be a data engineer to get answers from their numbers, or rebuild the same forecast and report for every client by hand. DataFloat was founded to make that the norm, not the exception.

Our Story

DataFloat started with a simple frustration. Our founders watched fractional CFOs and finance professionals spend hours every week pulling data from disconnected systems, reformatting spreadsheets, and rebuilding the same reports for client after client. The tools existed to solve this for large enterprises, but nothing was built for the people doing this work across a book of clients.

We started talking to fractional CFOs, accountants, and financial analysts. The more we listened, the more we realized the problem wasn't just workflow inefficiency. It was that no one had designed a tool that fit the way these professionals actually work, juggling many clients at once. So we decided to build it.

DataFloat was founded out of that conviction. We're a small team that cares deeply about the people we're building for, and we're just getting started.
